Fire Damage in Olney, MD Townhome
A fire began in an Olney townhome when a mattress was set on fire by a candle. The home had no electricity, so the person living in the home would light candles to see at night.
Although the fire began upstairs in a bedroom, the entire home was affected. As pictured, the kitchen on a level below was damaged. Smoke filled the kitchen, leaving behind soot and ash on the appliances, walls, furnishings, and floors. The water used to put out the fire created water damage throughout the home.
We were able to come in and clean up the mess the fire and water left behind. As you see in the second image, we were able to fix up the kitchen, giving the home a much-needed update and restoration. We deodorized the home of the smoke smell too!
